March Outing 2016

The March outing was poorly attended, however those who did attend found the outing interesting. The day was a bit overcast, but we weren't deterred by a few spots of rain to view the beautiful native garden of Bruce Alp at Boambee East.

Bruce's garden is an outstanding learning garden for natives as he has every single native with a tag; therefore, it's easy to see what does best in his garden.

The next stop on our outing was to the Butterfly House. Here we were given a personal and detailed account of the life cycle of butterflies.

After our tour of the butterfly house we had lunch in the cafe where the meals were very tasty and quite reasonable.
